KNOE 8 News is looking for a full time weekend anchor/producer/reporter with excellent written and verbal communication skills; thorough working knowledge of broadcast production; aggressive and innovative thinker who can implement strategic plans; must have experience producing news; strong problem solving abilities; high work ethics and standards; ability to meet deadlines and detail orientation; computer proficiency.

The ideal candidate will embrace last minute changes and breaking news and be able to produce any newscast at KNOE. Producing and anchoring two newscasts a day on the weekends is required. Candidate will also report three days a week. The ideal candidate will be required to report live in the field as well. In addition, this person will update our web site on weekends and as assigned. This person reports directly to the News Director. Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field of study preferred.

The primary responsibilities will be to write news, publish news and non-news content, mobile and video content, breaking news and weather content, grow our presence on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, develop photo slideshows, blogs, and oversee the design and layout for pages within the web site. Experience in graphic design with expertise in web site design. Must have exceptional communication skills.
